Six Months Paediatric Nursing Training Programme - 2019
Ministry of Health Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine has taken steps to conduct Six Months Paediatric Nursing Training Programme - 2019, at the Post Basic College of Nursing, Colombo. The duration of this training programme is 06 months. Applications are invited from the Nursing Officers of Grade I, Grade . II and Grade III, who are presently serving in the Paediatric Wards/PBU/other Units. The training programme is planned to be commenced in April, 2019.
Required Qualifications;
1. Age should be less than 48 years on 31st March, 2019
2. Relevant applicants should have working experience, not less than 02 years in a Paediatric Ward/PBU/other unit related to paediatric nursing at present. They have not undergone any other inservice training within the period of last 03 years and should not be a person who has obtained paediatric training previously.
3. Trained nursing officers should agree to serve compulsorily in paediatric wards for two years period after completion of the training programme. Before commencement of the training each trainee has to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Health in this regard. The relevant agreements will be sent to them.
