The newly built, state of art Operation Theatre, Intensive Care Unit and Ward Complex at the Embilipitiya Base Hospital vested with the public under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena, on 2016.08.15.
These development works had been done at a cost of around 100 million rupees in order to remove many shortages at the hospital existed for a long period.
