Sara Childers, worked at Forensics Ward 2 of the Western State Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Lakewood, Washington, had delivered a cake to her former employer after she quit her job as a nurse, writing out an official resignation notice and signing it with thick black frosting.
"Western State Hospital: I QUIT!!!" Childers scribbled in icing across the top of the sheet cake adding, "Official Notice," and the date.
She then signed her name on the bottom of her resignation cake.
Above the confectionery "Official Notice," Childers showed her solidarity to her former colleagues, by writing "Forensics 2 Swing Shift: I [Heart] you!"
