NS1 antigen test (NS1 stands for nonstructural protein 1), is a test for dengue, introduced in 2006. It allows rapid detection on the first day of fever, before antibodies appear some more days later.
Dengue can be detected on day 1 of the fever by a test called NS-1 antigen test, with a blood sample you can obtain results by half an hour.
