A nurse Died after being Stabbed at Mental Health Hospital

A nurse at a mental health hospital in south London died after being stabbed at his workplace.

Officers arrived and found a man, a nurse aged in his 60s, suffering from stab wounds. He later died from his injuries at the scene. 

A 40 year old man, reported to have been an inpatient, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and was taken to a south London hospital, where he is being treated for a hand injury.
